Christian Chambord faithful among the faithful

It’s unique and actually rather unusual Since its creation in 2001 Christian Chambord has not missed any edition of the Tour de Corse Historique. It counts 18 on the counter, the version, 2005 having been cancelled.  For this 20th edition the Belgian driver will be behind the wheel of an Alpine 1800, another brand of loyalty, he did all the TDCH with the Alpine, from 1972, who made his Tour Auto debut with Jean-Pierre Nicolas and Jean Todt and with whom Jean-Pierre Manzagol and Jean-Pierre Nicolas had finished, respectively, third in the Cévennes and the Tour de Corse. Christian Chambord will find his navigator, almost always, Patrick Fourestie who, beyond giving him notes, maintenance and restores the cars. A loyalty of bucket for the Bruxellois who keeps a child’s gaze on this rally that he qualifies as "mythical".
